 CU Denver's College of Architecture and Planning (CAP) wants to meet you and help you along your journey to college and beyond. We offer different types of events for prospective students and their families to learn about and experience CAP. Please review each event type and select a date at the bottom of the page to register. For in-person visitors, we recommend adding a Campus Tour before or after your session. Building Tour With a BS Architecture Student The 45-minute to 1-hour tour of CAP includes viewing studio space and student work, classrooms, the Fabrication Lab (Woodshop, Laser Lab, and 3D Printers), and current exhibits. The student will also share their experience in the program. Virtual Info Session The 20-minute Virtual Info Session will cover the pathway to architecture licensure, an overview of the BS Architecture program, and the application process. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A. Virtual Office Hours With the Undergraduate Recruitment Manager Have a few question about the program or application? Drop-in without an appointment on Sundays and Thursdays between 6:30pm - 7:15pm here on Zoom. *Except on 10/18/26 Final Jury Reviews Sit in on various studio levels' final presentations for as long as you would like. Jury reviews are 2-3 days at the end of the semester when students present their final studio projects to faculty, peers, and a panel of practicing architects. This is the culmination of all of their hard work and creativity, and a great opportunity to experience an integral part of the architecture program. School Group Visits to CAP We host school groups of up to 30 students and can tailor an experience for you based on your interests and time available, whether it's an Info Session and building tour, a short design activity, or additional campus experiences like eating in the residential dining hall (~$10/student for lunch.
