The MEIS Open House events are for all prospective CU Denver music students and parents/guardians. They take place on each of our live audition dates. These events are ideal events for high school juniors/seniors and transfer students but all prospective students are welcome to attend. The standard MEIS Open House agenda is:

9-10am - MEIS Department Overview Session
10-11am - MEIS Student Panel
11-11:30am - MEIS Faculty Meet & Greet
11:30am -12:15pm - Music Spaces & Recording Studios Tour 
12:15-1pm - Lunch on your own (lots of food options in the Tivoli Union
1-2pm - Sit-in on a Performance Practice Ensemble class (optional)
2-3pm - Campus tour (optional)

Additionally, iIf you are also planning to audition on one of the Open House dates, make sure to schedule your audition with the appropriate faculty member. The audition and faculty contact info can be found on our MEIS applicant information web page.
