What Does It Take to Keep Growing as a Leader? A Conversation with Jung Park

Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at 12:00 PM until 1:00 PMMountain Standard Time UTC -07:00

Leadership development doesn't stop once you've reached a certain level in your career. In many ways, experience creates a new set of questions: How do you continue challenging your thinking? How do you become a more intentional leader? And how do you prepare yourself for responsibilities you haven't encountered yet?

Join us for a virtual conversation with Jung Park, Founder of Sherpath Coaching and instructor of Leading with Purpose in CU Denver's Executive MBA and Executive MBA in Aviation programs.

Drawing on his experience working with and teaching accomplished professionals, Jung will share his perspective on what it means to continue developing as a leader at a stage in your career when you're bringing significant experience of your own to the table.

We'll explore questions such as:

  • How does leadership development change as your career progresses? What do experienced professionals need to continue learning, unlearning, and developing?
  • How can leaders broaden their perspective beyond their own role or industry? And why does exposure to people with different professional experiences matter?
  • What does it mean to lead with purpose? How can leaders become more intentional about the decisions they make, the teams they lead, and the impact they want to have?
  • Where does business education fit into continued professional growth? Jung will offer his perspective on why some experienced professionals pursue an Executive MBA, what makes that learning environment different, and what professionals should consider when deciding whether an EMBA is right for them.
  • What are the unique leadership challenges facing aviation professionals? We'll also discuss how broader business and leadership perspectives can benefit professionals navigating the complexity of the aviation and aerospace ecosystem.

Whether an Executive MBA is something you're actively considering, something that may be years down the road, or not currently on your radar, you're welcome to join us. This conversation is designed first and foremost as an opportunity to step back from the day-to-day and think about your own development as a leader.

Bring your questions, your experience, and your perspective.
